Can I Join Your Minecraft Server?

i know its a lot to ask but im getting bored of being all alone in my world and none of my mates have minecraft, so i was wondering if someone might let me join theirs?

im not a griefer, i just want to play it with some people around me for company lol

im friendly and sociable so i wont just ignore you
also im 17 so i would prefer a server with more mature players
