well? can i? i'm borrowing my sister's account until i decide if i want it or not, trouble is, i can only play it on library computers, which reset after each use, erasing any saved game, so unless i can save my file to memory stick there doesn't seem to be much point in getting it and it looks like i can't

edit: trouble is, the computers at by local library are very restrictive, they're only meant for browsing and using basic microsoft packages, so i can't search for or run a minecraft folder, i need to save my world directly to a memory stick, is that possible?

You can put your world file on it. You will have to move the file each time though. I'm not sure about the whole game.

Yes you can. Take everything in the .minecraft folder and put it on there in one directory. It can run completely free of the internet and it's very small.
