I've done the SystemRequirementsLab diagonistic on my computer.

It says it will run, but I fail the Recommended Requirements. Now I believe there is no point in buying a game if its not going to run well, and minimum just doesn't cut it. So if it says it can't, why am I asking you?

Because its said the same thing about Oblivion and Shadows of Chernonbyl. Yet I can run Oblivion on High and with many different mods (with some help from Operation Optimization admittingly) and I can run the Complete 2009 mod version of Stalker on medium-high with no issues.

Which has me sitting on the border - do I believe the assement and save myself $40-$60 and not get Fallout 3 GoTY, or do I go with the chance that it will be like Oblivion and Stalker and do just fine?

Sorry, linking to the site doesn't show us your analysis. You're going to have to copy/paste or put a screenshot up. But if you can run Oblivion on High, odds are you'll be able to handle Fallout 3 without too much trouble- F3 actually has a (somewhat) more stable version of the Oblivion engine.

Ah damn it. I've forgotten how to get the general systems report on Vista. Anyone willing to remind me how?
