A new Bulbapedia article led me to ask this
http://bulbanews.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Can_Pok%C3%A9mon_be_educational%3F
It explains that Pokemon have been used in lessons with surprising results, Using Dialga And Palkia (Dr Dialga and Professor Palkia) to teach students about Space and Time.
Also it helps them to write, many teachers in the USA i believe, allow the students to write about there favorite Pokemon character or other Characters like Ash and Dawn.
Also it can teach students about cultures, apparently Bridging Japanese and American cultures.
What are your opinions on this? i think it would be a great idea to implement in the classroom (for younger students of course)
