I'm talking about the Rift trailer I see every time I start a video here on The Escapist. I saw the Rift trailer at least 8 times yesterday. I'm not saying Rift is bad, just that if I see a trailer too many times I pass on the product because it feels like it's being forced down my throat.Anarchemitis said:Personally I make a point of avoiding content and trailers of video games unless word of mouth alone garners my interest. This is a highly effective method of avoiding hype as well as saving money because it becomes difficult to be obsessed or overly interested in video games by reading about it (]good or bad) online. This also preeminates that you don't complain about games you haven't played [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ptitlexxpmjrh25rbg] because you know very little about them.
However, I fail to see how your complaint qualifies as Advice or a query thereof. Presently I imagine a moderator may move it to the Gaming discussion

yeah, its starting to piss me off but good. EVERY video i load features this crappy trailer. i, at one point, was going to check out this game. but now? i hate its every molecule. i hate the over saturization of the escapist videos with this shitty trailer. yeah, i get it. we're not in azeroth anymore. i havent been in azeroth for over a year now. but id rather go back to that repetitive gameplay than play rift. id rather play some kind of hello kitty game than play rift. enough is enough. the game has been released now. isnt it time to take them down?DaHero said:I'm talking about the Rift trailer I see every time I start a video here on The Escapist.
