Can wolverine get infected by a zombie bite? If so, would zombie wolverine have his powers? If not what might happen?

Ask Wolfram Alpha :p

And I'd say no, because it seems to cross too many horror things at once. I mean, it could happen, but it'd make for a pretty shitty comic/film.

I don't see how. His healing factor would make it impossible to die. But there are many 'types' of zombies. The undead kind, the not living kind (There is a difference, just ask DnD what it is) and the kind of 'zombies' from movies like the crazies. in short, i don't think so, but it would be EPIC!

Well that would depend on how the zombie virus affects his healing factor, as it could be negated by it, or it could be unphased by it, it really depends on what "zombie rules" you're following. Also, if Marvel Zombies is anything to go by, then yes.

Marvel Zombies is a "what if" comic. It is a speculative "if it could happen" situation. Doesn't mean it can happen. Personally regardless of Marvel Zombies I would say no to it being possible.

Generally speaking, no, his body *should* fight off foreign virus/bacteria.

However, the Marvel Zombies franchise is one gigantic cash-in what if scenario so they're not going to let a small thing like canon get in the way. In fact in the first Marvel Zombies Wolverine himself wonders how the hell he got infected in the first place. He also lost his regenerative abilities and couldn't fix himself once he got damaged. (in one scene slashing into someone and the claws end up ripping through his *own* arms instead of through their target)

Actually no, the Marvel Zombies universe is a parallel Universe to the standard one (Earth 616) and the Ultimate Marvel Universe, and the Zombies have crossed over into 616 a few times.

That said, it is a Parallel Universe, which means that the Wolverine there might have powers that differ from 616's Wolverine.

I too think its highly unlikely that he could become a Zombie.

Didnt he lose an arm in the comic....

In the alternate Marvel Zombies universe, Wolverine is one of many heroes who become infected by the zombie virus. He is infected when Captain America and Hawkeye bite him on the arms. For reasons unexplained, the virus prevents his healing factor from working. He, along with other zombies, attempt to slay the Silver Surfer. Wolverine attacks the Surfer but his body is decayed so much that his arm is torn apart, as his adamantium bones are a lot stronger than his rotting flesh. Eventually, Wolverine and the other zombies are successful in killing and eating the Surfer. As a result, he and the others gain the Silver Surfer's cosmic power and devour Galactus, becoming the creatures collectively known as The Galacti.

Currently, the Marvel Zombies are attacking a Skrull planet, only to encounter the Fantastic Four of the 616 reality - currently consisting of Black Panther, Storm, the Thing and the Human Torch, leaving the Zombies eager to capture the FF and transport back to their reality.

In Marvel Zombies 2, Wolverine's lost arm has been replaced with a cybernetic arm with claws and he has taken off his mask, he is loyal to Henry Pym (Giant-Man) and willingly attacks the defecting Spider-Man ("Kinda always knew it would come to this eventually, Pete."). When the others realize that the hunger is fading, he initially refuses to let go of a survivor in his grasp until Henry Pym tells him to stop, he seemingly loses his hunger.

In the cross over comics Marvel Zombies Vs. Army of Darkness. Ash uses a transporter to go to a safe universe. Unfortunately for Ash he encounters Wolverine and all of the other marvel characters as Werewolves.

Zombie caused by virus. Wolverine's immune system able to fight off all infections.

Worst thing I think is that it might make him a little ill until his body wins the fight.
Yeah that's what I thought. If he was a zombie though *shudder* I sure wouldn't want to come up against him.
