If you used Kryptonite as the force crystal, definitely. Otherwise, hmm... that's something to ponder.

I guess it's similar to the question; What happens when a unstoppable object, meets and immovable force (something like that).

Anyway, I don't know. Try putting in Krypton crystals in the lightsaber.

No, you'd just knock the bastard out for halve the episode, allowing you to ignore him for the rest of the time, forgetting him, and inevitably getting your ass kicked by him because you forgot he wasn't dead...

It would be extremely easy. All you would have to do is get Superman on a planet with a Red Sun. There, he would lose his powers and be cleft in twain by the laser energy of the Lightsaber.

That depends. Has DC made him impervious to it yet? If yes, then no. If no, expect it to be in the next comic, "Superman Meets Darth Vader."

Well Doomsday killed Superman by just beating him to death, so... can't see why a light saber wouldn't be able to as well.

No, he's superman.

He can fly into the sun.
What he does while he is in there no one knows...
He jerks off. He really does not want to procreate so he makes sure he does it there.

And if ANYONE says that he has (a la superman returns) I WILL FIND YOU! and do things to you possibly involving the sun. And it WILL be painful.

Seriously that movie would of been 15 minutes long if they cut out all the floating and bullshit.

You'd probably be better off asking whoever is in charge of the Superman franchise at the moment, if you want a real answer. If it is not kryptonite, the blade of the lightsaber will not kill him.

That would be a really ultimate man cave. So it's settled, if your beat-off station is the center of the sun then I doubt a lightsaber would kill you. Maybe it's was keeps the sun fueled.

Yes/no irrelavent...

Without the Force to speed yourself up with precognition against natural Superman's speed, you would never have an ability to make contact with him and an ignited blade. I never understood logistically why Superman would just stand there and let people fire guns at him. The ricochets alone carries enough kinetic energy to hurt a bystander. Yet alone the criminal firing on Superman. Before someone says that is ironic kharma for the criminal; in the Superman mythos, Superman goes out of his way to protect and save even his most greatest adveraries if he can.

I believe Sumerman would realise it is something different in your hands and endevor to relieve you of it with his speed rather than assume this different can't hurt him allowing an impact with it from the yielder.

If it was a Krypto crystal. Sure, maybe as a regular mortal with no Jedi powers. But it depends on if you surprise him or not at very close range. If you do an old west type stand off at twenty paces and ignite that blade, he may have enough fall off distance to speed a way before the Krypto fully weakens him after he starts to feel the effect. He recovers at distance while traking you with his supersight. Then heat beams the weapon out of your hand at distance. You run, he nabs you.

It really depends on if Force powers are present and how much element of suprise there is.

I don't think I am versed well enough in the lore of Superman to have a definite answer, but my money would be on yes. He would be near impervious to harm through kinetic means, but how exactly does a lightsaber 'cut'?
