Can you prove others?

This has been something I've been curious about.

I've heard the question, "Can you prove yourself" all the time, but I've hardly ever heard of "can you prove others?"

The only thing I can come up with is, I see and feel them, therefore they exist, which is the same explanation I use for trying to prove my own existence. But then again, there's the arguments that it could all merely be a figment of your own or someone else's imagination.

So, what's your explanation to this?

I'm thinking someone was stoned when thinking of these questions.

You can't. We might all be figments of a god's imagination, or bits of data in some unimaginable computer. But - at least we can have a good time whether or not we exist.

"Rene Descarte was a drunken fart, 'I drink therefore I am'"

OP: Eh. You're all generally easy going figments of my imagination so it doesn't bother me though.

How my sick mind came up with IdealistCommi I'll never know.
Actually, that's one of my arguments. Why would I imagine people so terrible as, say Hitler?

Why exactly would I think of anyone who isn't a kind person.

Or the other way around if you would prefer a world with dicks.

Yes I can.

You are typing here, on a place bigger than my imagination.
Therefore you must also be on this place.
It may be only 2 of us, and we both manage half of humanity
That would be an interesting idea.

We'd make a good pair.

This sounds like a case for solipsism, I try not to think about this kind of thing too much, that train of thought never goes to good places.

This sort of stuff depresses me, but it's so damn interesting. You do exist and so do others. That's all that matters for now.

It's not so much stoned as out of the box but anyways,

OT: I consider that you can prove others existence because more important than you being able to interact with them is that they interact with you. Others can react in ways that you do not expect, thereby proving that they exist too.

Oh, on a parallel I would not necessarily agree with your assessment on being able to see or feel proves that oneself does exist. Rather the simple fact that you ask yourself if you exist proves that you do.
