Can you recommend a monitor?

I've finished my new computer, and now I need a monitor to go with it.
I would like it to be minimum 2160x1440, 144hz, decent color and contrast with DisplayPort.
No set price limit, but preferrably as cheap as possible without sacrificing too much quality.
My GPU is a Sapphire Radeon R9 390 if that's relevant.

First thing first, take a look at a 144Hz monitor because, to my 42 year old eyes, I can't see the difference from a 60Hz monitor. However from those that know say the Acer XG270HU is good budget option, the Acer XB270HU is mid price option and finally the ASUS PG279Q is the top of the range option

Any idea about something like an ASUS MG278Q or BenQ XL2730Z? Somewhat cheaper options that the ACER and ASUS ones, and they also have FreeSync for my AMD card. From the comments I saw about the two Acer monitors the IPS screens seem to have a lot of light bleeding in dark scenes, while the TN screens seem to be worse on colors.

I'm not a fan of BenQ in general, in my experience their build quality can be very variable. The ASUS MG278Q will only FreeSync up to 90Hz not the full 144hz. As to the other issues people that get the duff panel are more likely to write a negative review than those that the get a panel that works, so I always take those with pinch of salt.
