I don't really have many "favorites" but I'd probably have to choose from; The A-Team/ M.A.S.H./ Are you being served?/ Allo' Allo'/ Surface.

I would say Lucky Louie, but Louis C.K. already has a new sitcom that's doing well, so I guess it would have to be The Critic.

The best Sci-fi in history. I still cry about it from time to time... Space: Above and Beyond WHY FOX WHY???

The cast were class. The show is reminiscent of a "Band of Brothers" set in space. And the characters are all masterfully done. You fall in love with each and every story told by each one of them.

God I miss them :^(
Oooooh, Space: Above and Beyond!

Obviously Firefly. That one's a given.

I also think Rubicon didn't get a fair chance to reach the potential for awesomeness it could have had. It got cancelled in the middle of its first season.

I vaguely remember liking the Ninja Turtles TV show when I was five, but I doubt it would be as awesome now to my much less easily impressed mind.

OMG The Misfits of Science? I thought that show was just a fever dream that no one else would ever remember.

I have to see this Invader Zim everyone keeps mentioning for the past few years. I tend to stay a little behind on my Pop Culture, mostly to see what sticks and what's just a fad. For instance, I'm currently watching Star Trek: Enterprise and I see what people mean by the show improving by Season Three. Since it's too bad there isn't a Season Five, I guess I'll say that show -- and Stargate: Atlantis. They both ended too soon IMHO.

Ooh, Buffy Season Eight would be a real treat if it were to make it onto the screen...

Plus, they should bring Futurama back... Oh, nevermind.

Well...I suppose there's nothing that we can do about the Conan O'Brien version of the Tonight Show but....

'Better Off Ted' was friggin hilarious (especially the episode 'Racial Sensitivity'), but its lead-in was the final season of 'Scrubs' who's ending was long overdue.

'Raines' was a pretty sweet cop drama starring Jeff Goldblum. With all the shows about people who deal with ghosts, 'Raines' is about a cop who sees the ghosts of murder victims. Except they're not ghosts, they're figments of his demented imagination. This is a great way to explain why none of the 'ghosts' says 'Yeah, I saw the killer! It was THAT guy!', but instead offer insights that Raines would've thought of anyway. It was quite good and I liked it a lot, but it didn't catch on.

'Cop Rock'. That's pretty much all you need to know, except that the opening was written by Randy Newman and is probably on YouTube, and most of the music was written by Mike Post who's written some of the greatest and most memorable theme songs, like Law and Order, The A-Team, Blue Thunder, and many others.

I'm going to take the liberty of rephrasing this question as "Pick a favorite cancelled tv-show and imagine that it never got cancelled in the first place."

I'm going to go with Firefly. That show had so much potential, I can't believe they cancelled it. And to be honest, I don't think the writers believed it either. Watching that show, there were so many lines and characters that you KNOW they were planning on bringing back later in the series as something important, but they never got a chance to.

Aside from Firefly...

I'd like to see what happens next in Heroes - the fact that it ended with such a world-bendingly important cliffhanger that would have changed the entire dynamic of the show kind of bugged me, as it was set up so perfectly that you expect a resolution. Damn it all, TV. Damn it all.
