Cannibalism leads to all kinds of shit happening to your body, like this [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creutzfeldt%E2%80%93Jakob_disease].

No thanks.

On a side note - human flesh tastes very much like pork.
Dude, you do know that Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease is basically mad cow disease, right?
Yes, I'm well aware. Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy came about when cow farmers "recycled" all the bits of cow that they couldn't sell to the public; by feeding it back to the cows. It's the same disease afflicting both species, caused by eating the meat of ones own species.
no it's caused by eating infected meat, it can be passed by eating the meat of one's species, but it's comparatively likely to be passed by eating the flesh of another species, of which has been infected

It may be more likely to be passed on that way, yes, but it originated from cannibalism.

true but at this point it's just as likely to get it either way.

I don't really like the idea of cannibalism, and I wouldn't even get near the act thereof. Even in a "do it or you're dead" kind of situation, I wouldn't. It's just... creepy. Besides, God knows where that human's been. I also suck at cooking.

True enough. But, linking back to my original argument; one still makes oneself far more likely to acquire the disease if one is a cannibal, than not. Which is why I wouldn't do it.

Sad thing is that I love the taste of blood and skin and eating it all cooked doesnt sound any different. No I never bit any of my friends and ate them. I pick scabs and lick the blood which is still kinda weird. And whenever someone bleeds at school I get all squimish cuz I want to lick the blood yet my friends think Im just afraid of it so they rub the cut in my face and I have panic attacks all the time. It is incredibly weird I know and only once could I not control myself. My one friend fell and cut his knee right open. (Later he got like 7 stiches) But before then he was showing everyone and when he got to me he wiped all the blood on his hand and said smell it. I tried not to but I grabed his hand and licked it all off :S Oh God there was soo much :D It tasted soo good!
Well anyways, Ive always been curious about the taste of human flesh. Aparently its very sweet tasting, not that I would know :p But in all seriousness I would eat another human being, survival situation or not. So I guess I am a bit of a cannible.

Babies taste like Fish! :D But seriously, I honestly don't see why everyone thinks it's so bad, I mean, your just gonna' toss them in the ground, or a furnace, so why not use them for something useful?

I'm not against murder or eating people, except in strictly hypocritical situations. Don't kill me or eat my..... no wait if I'm dead I could probably feed a small family, let alone care. So whatever.
Anyway, the right seasoning and a little cooking skills and I could probably come up with a delicious meal out of human. The only problem is the people I'd like to kill are probably not fit for human consumption. Just need the book in the first Tree House of Horror which was titled, "How to cook 40 humans."

I was just wandering, what do you guys think about cannibalism? Do you think its immoral? Do you think we should just leave it to the zombies? Do you think its . . . delicious?

it's sort of sick, but then again... if ther was a juicy tasty steak in front of me, and it was somehow ok to eat it (legal, noone murderd etc.) i guess i would be tempted to taste it.

Really? I thought it tasted more like lamb. Anyway, only forgivable in a survival scenario. The plane crashes on the side of the mountain with no food and little chance of immediate rescue, well, looks like it is Bob for dinner with a side of Fred.

Its perfectly acceptable if the person is already dead and its an emergency... or even if they are just dead (In some past cultures it was even a form of honour to eat the remains.) I'd hate to do it, but I wouldn't hesitate if it was a matter of life and death.

The sad thing is, once a person is dead, they're just a corpse. Doesn't matter if some spirit version of them lives on or whether their conscious form just dissapates, the corpse itself is just meat. In my humble opinion anyway. Certainly, if I was dead, and people were faced with eating my corpse or starving, I'd want them to eat me, if that was what was needed. The living should never have to sacrifice themselves to save the dead.
