Cannot update my steam wallet-- Please help

Hi there,
Ive been having problems with steam and my wallet on steam.
Basically, I use a pre-paid card called "paysafecard" for steam, today I got a £10 pre-paid card and, on the final transaction screen, I entered the code, and it said that there was an error and I couldn't update my wallet right now.

No biggie. I cancelled it all and tried again half an hour later, and he same message appeared.
Tried again an hour later and it let me actually enter me code and and finish the transaction.

Once I entered t however, it said that this code has already been used and I can't use it.
So I checked my steam wallet and the money hasn't been put into it...

Can anyone give me any advice on what I should do? because this is the first time something like this has happened to me on steam.

It may just be that Steam is running rather slowly at the minute, it took me twenty minutes to get Tropico 3 to start downloading. I'm pretty sure the money will appear in a bit once the servers stop getting hammered. If that still doesn't work, Contact steam support.

Ive already contacted steam, but they haven't given me a reply, even though its been about 4/5 hours since i sent the email. I dont think it because of steam being slow because when i look at the store transactions on my account, it says everytime ive tried putting the money, it failed.
