Can't install mass effect 2 on the pc

When it prompts me to put in disc 2 during the install, nothing happens when I put the disc in. I just get a retry or cancel box. Anyone who can help? Been trying to install for two hours now.

Stupid questions first:

You do know you have to push the "retry" button after you have put the DVD in?

Are you installing from an actual DVDs or pirated ISOs?
