TV doesn't scare me, TV is too cliche to scare me.

Oh and 5:58AM here. I think I win.

I made the stupid mistake of looking up a crapton of urban legends on Snopes, a few years ago, and was too scared to do much. Naturally, that was the first day that I had the house entirely to myself for a week.

True story: I relocated and slept on the couch, partly because it was where I'd just kissed my ex-girlfriend for the first (and only, as it turns out) time that night, and partly because the cats appeared to be standing guard. I'm just superstitious enough to get freaked out, and just superstitious enough to recover...

A word of warning: Do not look at the High Octane Nightmare Fuel page on TV Tropes. Trust me on this.

And to the people who have seen "Blink", if you look at the HONF page on TV Tropes for Doctor Who, do not read to the end. Trust me on this.

I was hesitant to go back upstairs once because it was dark and I just read the Enigma of Amigara Fault; I imagined that "thing" (if you read it you know what I mean) coming out of the walls. Of course, I realized that you could fight imaginary dangers with imaginary guardians, so I went to bed with the escort of imaginary Nanoha and Kenshiro, and also did that on nights when scared by the TV Tropes high octane nightmare fuel page.

This isn't one of those nights, though, I'm up so late since I actually woke up an hour ago. Oh, and about 5:15 AM here, though you can tell by the post time.

Its 3:30 a.m. here, still awake. Though, I am insomnic, so.. Er, yeah?

Never watched Dr. Who, though. Though one episode of Criminal Minds (the cannibalism one) did it for me for a night, a few months ago. *Shiver*

I remember a certain scary thread on the Escapist that I made the mistake of reading at two in the morning.

Aside from that keeping me awake for about an hour longer than I had intended, the Exorcist, although my parents are quite evil and had me watch it when I was thirteen.

That episode made me look behind me every few seconds and quickly dart around corners.
I also never took my eyes off any statue, not even for a second.

So yeah that episode had the same affect on me as it did on you at the age of 16, and when I saw Terminator 2 for this first time I used to ask my parents if they new my middle name before sleeping just so I could make sure they were my parents and not the Terminator in diguise.

Man, you're weak. I've fought mudcrabs tougher than you.

OT: Stephen King's Children of the Corn. The book, not the shitty film. Damn, that was creepy.

It took me forever to get to sleep for a couple of days after seeing 'Blink.' Kept lying down, closing my eyes, and then jumping up and turning on my bedside lamp in horror. Definitely the scariest DW episode of the new series.

'Are you my Mummy?' episode was way scarier than Blink! And I have a horrible suspicion that now Moffat doing 6 episode is going to completely kill his awesomeness :(

I've woken in cold sweats from nightmares about Giant Radscorpions.

I hate those things so much.

Don't remind me of that picture. By the way, I am finally feeling tired. I just refuse to sleep until daytime.
