A word of warning: Do not look at the High Octane Nightmare Fuel page on TV Tropes. Trust me on this.

And to the people who have seen "Blink", if you look at the HONF page on TV Tropes for Doctor Who, do not read to the end. Trust me on this.
Bobmaster... how is it you have 10,000 posts and we are not aqcuainted?

Are you by any chance Neonbob in disguise?

On Topic:

SMILE DOG.
Don't remind me of that picture. By the way, I am finally feeling tired. I just refuse to sleep until daytime.
It was actually on these forums that I first saw it.

I couldn't sleep for two nights, especially after hearing the story that went with it.

Doctor Who as well..
But not Blink.
Blink still is a terrifying episode yes.. But..
The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances.

I couldn't sleep for weeks.
I'm still afraid of gas masks.
And I scream if someone goes Pyro on TF2.

'Blink' was a master piece of an Episode.

The only scary new episode, asides from the Gas Mask people maybe.

I saw an episode of the X-Files when I was a kid that kept me from sleeping that night. The one where the little girl controls people minds to kill themselves.

A mudcrab snuck up on me.
I have nightmare's about a giant rat pouncing on me out of nowhere, with a loud squeak.

And a bunch of cliff racers descending on me.

But yeah, don't recall episode it was, though.

An episode of this scared me, I believe it was the one based off of "The Time Machine"

Blink. That shit was the only episode of Dr. Who to scare me.

OT: No I have never been scared by something on TV or in a movie so much so that I cannot sleep.

I've only done this by reading scary stuff online at anti social hours. TV normally doesn't do it for me

You're a couple of years too late for that warning. I decided to grab an idiot ball one day and read through all of the nightmare fuel pages (before the separation between normal and hi-octane), during a day when I'd resolved to stay in my dorm room the entire day and fell asleep at noon.

I'm sure there are more unpleasant feelings that a combined paranoid terror, circadian rhythm wonkiness, and stir-craziness...but I don't think I want to find out what they are.

Good luck sleeping.
Really? Seems pretty sedate to me.

I've never hard difficulty getting to sleep because of anything I've seen, not for a long time anyway.
Reading 'John dies at the end', that was a little creepy.

Anyone heard of Marble Hornets?

Seriously, watch them. I ended up opening my eyes in bed every 5 seconds after watching them.

First time I watched it I was stoned, alone and in the dark. I sat and stared blankly for 10 minutes trying to figure out what the fuck I just saw. It's a hell of alot easy to swallow during the day and sober.

That episode scared me so I watched Halloween (Rob Zombie's version) to calm me down.

I don't like Dr. Who really but if you're speaking about the one where there are those stone statues that move when you can't see them; they shat me up for weeks.

"It". I saw the beginning of the film when I was 3 or 4.

I didn't sleep for days and now I am permanently afraid of dolls.
Why dolls? It made me afraid of clowns. I'm sure "Poltergeist" will work for dolls, though.

yeah, that episode was pretty freaky, but chill, it ain't real!

or is it?

nope, definitely not.

I remember there was an episode of goosebumps (who remembers that eh?) which was about werewolves, scared me shitless. I wouldn't go in my garden for a week. I'm still a little bit scared and I'm 18 now. That was the only episode of goosebumps I watched, it freaked me out too much for me to watch it again.
