Ever since my buddy Zellos showed me ZP back in 07 and i joined the Escapist I enjoy forums and interactions here more than i do on FB with people I actually know. Sure there's the occasional Fanboy madness (from either point of view) but more often than not I find well made and explained statements. Whether it be about communism or why we love (or dislike) JRPGs (personally I like them), there are seldom flat out idiots (give or take depending on your classification of idiot). The Video Game World is one of the very few things I still have faith in (humanity and religion didn't make the cut) and I have found that many who share my enthusiasm or passion for them are very rarely of the narrow minded kind. I mean think about it, the games we play regardless of genre, take a level or perception that goes beyond what button you press in the QTE or how well you can no-scope an FPS enemy. Storyline, reaction time, comprehension of storyline, even talking about a game it's theological applications (mostly implied). Long story short let's not insult each other's intelligence because none of us are stupid and lets talk about some gawd damn video games!
