A question for anyone who is familiar with the program RPG maker. Is it capable of making SRPG type games (Fire Emblem, Shining force, Tactics Ogre, ect.)? And if not is there a program that is?

Well I only had a short run in with RPG Maker but I know there are many add-ons to squeeze pretty much all styles into it.

yeah that's what I was talking about. Those seem to be mods, so I dunno if they'll have some of the capabilities I'm looking for.Mr.K. said:
I don't think it's possible with the base engine, although I HAVE seen a script for it somewhere... (scripts are used to modify the base engine).
Hmmm seems like I'd have to do a lot of modding work to make it do what I want. And with my current time and education that doesn't look like it will be available soon.
