Great.. I bought DMC 4 when it first came out for like $80. It was a special pack and it came with some dvd I only watched once but the game looked good so I was willing to take a chance. Now I feel like an idiot.

Of course, by now you can get all three games second hand for about that price, although Capcom doesn't get any money out of second hand games.

They should bundle some exclusive extras in with it, like the original Resident Evil or something. Then it would fly off the shelf AND be worth the money.

That's a pretty awesome value for three pretty good games. Such a shame it's a US exclusive, though. I don't have Lost Planet or Dead Rising anymore - and Dead Rising's suddenly gone up in price where I live - so I'd probably buy this package.

If you haven't played these games, I'd recommend them - and now there's an even better reason to do so.

Meh, not as desirable as the Bioshock/Oblivion bundle, even though it's an even better deal.

*Cough*

Just to name a few.
But Eh, all a matter of opinion. Therefore: I respect yours.

As for the bundle: Sounds good. But I already own the games seperately, so no deal for me.

Huh, and here I thought the games would be Resident Evil 5, Bionic Commando, and Dead Rising when I read the title for this thread, but I suppose those are too successful for a value pack.

I haven't played any of these games and am fairly interested in all three of them, so I really don't see how I can lose.

Definitely picking it up - deals like this are the reason I never buy a game at the $60 price point.

This man said it all.

Three games I haven't played that apparently kick ass, for a cheap price. Can't go wrong.

Perhaps that's the reason they're bundling them and adding a "cheap price".
The Orange Box was garbage too.

That's why it contains Half Life 2, one of the highest rated games of all time, its two episodic sequels, Team Fortress 2 (which is one of the highest-rated class-based team shooters), and Portal (Almost universally recognized as one of the greatest puzzle games of all time).

Totally shit.

Yeah, five of the best games of the last decade, in one cheap set.
Garbage. XD
Anyway, this set is like a gift from god, because ive been trying to decide which of these three games to get for a while. At first I thought lost planet would be the best choice, but then I remembered how much fun I had with my rented copy of deadrising, but DMC4 also seemed very appealing...

This is just such an awesome coincedence. I get ALL of them...Thanks, capcom.

Well I've already got DMC4 (loved it), though planet looked awesome just never got it and dead rising a lot of my friends rave about. Only flaw is I'm not American! Dammit Capcom release it in Britain, I'd pay 24.29 for this bundle (which according to the internet is the exchange from $40)

Well, to be fair, games are subjective... So any claims that it's teh best evar can easily go ignored. But, I was actually being sarcastic, and pointing out the idiocy of the person I quoted.

Bonus points for at least recognizing you were being trolled?

But being trolled is fun, and I like posting that video whenever I get the chance.

And so you keep on trying
Mindlessly replying~

They call this a "Platinum Hits Bundle"?!

How can they say that without including their two biggest franchises? (Resident Evil/Street Fighter)
Screw that. WHERE'S MEGAMAN?! Why don't they give the blue bomber some love? He's the entire reason any of their games exist.

Instead of making platinum bundles, how about Megaman X9, or Megaman Legends 3? Hell, I'll even take something on the portables (Except Starforce. That series is crap)

Are you for real?

Megaman on the 360?

Keep our childhood memories away from this console generation. We have already lost Sonic...

Yes, but here's the beauty of it. Megaman is already on the 360, in the form of Megaman 9.

Capcom doesn't rape their franchise like Sega does. They know to branch out and reach new audiences, YET keep their old audience happy. For example, I dislike the Battle Network and Starforce series because they just aren't Mega Man to me. However, they don't force me to choose them or else screw off. They still have Megaman, Megaman X, Megaman Zero, Megaman ZX, Megaman Legends, etc. Yes, some call it whoring out, but I see it as appealing to multiple fanbases at once.

And since they can keep it in chronological order so simply, unlike a certain Nintendo Franchise, there's no confusion whatsoever and the world of Megaman gets bigger and bigger, without suffering decay.

Right now, as I see it, Megaman 9 was when Capcom realized that old school kicks ass. If we need a revival of any franchise, it's them.

(plus, try out Powered up and Maverick Hunter X for the PsP. It shows they can resurrect old games for modern gamers)
