Stop whining guys.

A traditionally console oriented company putting more focus on the PC is a GOOD thing and very telling about how well the PC is doing as a platform in general. Even before consoles started to become more like PC that used to dominate the hardcore market, the PC wasn't really supported by Capcom. The fact that they're really interested in it NOW can ONLY be a GOOD thing.

So take what you can get.

So... Megan Man MMO, right?

I'm curious to see if they'll really work to make this happen, or if they'll just push out ports that are unplayable without a console controller, just so they can have another outlet for their games (via digital distribution) with minimal effort.

Here's hoping. I'm not a huge Capcom fan, but it's good to see people trying new things.

Phoenix Wright for the PC...please? It worked in Japan, it can't take SO much effort to alter the DS release for PC...

The PC version of RE 5 was one of the best ports I've ever played. So this gets my thumbs up.

Uh-huh.

No doubt they'll also bring their always-online DRM as well. Since, you know, its totally not hurting any paying customers on PSN right now.

Your avatar amazingly fit perfectly with the techno song I was just listening to.

I just hope that they optimize their games a bit better, and maybe drop GFWL. I have no problem with ports as long as some effort has been put into it. Include detailed graphics settings, customizable controls, and a menu system that doesn't make me want to punch things, and I'm happy.

Is it me of have alot of companies lately said they wanted to support the PC platform more..?...

Maybe it is because of the incredible year the PC market has had...

Completely off topic though:

What on earth is Dead Rising 2: Off the Record?

Is it a GOTY edition? Standalone game like Fallout New Vegas? DLC!?! Or just a patch?
Seems like an enhanced version of DR2 with Frank West instead of Chuck Greene.

Source: Joystiq
Link broken...

Enhanced version... What does that mean? The same thing but with a new characther and less bugs?! Bugs and load time that should have been fixed for Dead Rising 2?
Load times? They weren't that bad in my opinion, although I did use them to plan ahead and/or chat with my co-op buddy about what items we hadn't thrown at each other. Bugs? What bugs? I never had any?

And to answer your first question, off the record is a game featuring Frank West as the main character with a complete story rehaul. Aside from one area however, the city is the same, but Chuck Greene is still in it, as a co-op character. Combo weapons are also still in the game and more melee moves are being added. All in All, sounds pretty good so far, but very little is known about it aside from one article where the website got to try a demo of the first 10 mins or so.

OT: Sounds good, if it means more money for Capcom. However, I'll be sticking to their console games for now, just their stronger market right now.

What game are you talking about here? I just tried DMC 4 and the only thing it wouldn't let me access are the leaderboards as if anyone cares about them.
