The fact remains that no matter how good these games are, they are still niche titles and rail shooters. Don't piss in my pocket and tell me it's raining Capcom, you can't serve up scraps and try and tell me it's a full course, then complain when the majority of gamers don't bite. Release RES on the PS3 and see if it hits a million, I dare you.

Well this really sucks for the serious Wii owners on The Escapist. Capcom were one of the last developers making mature games and if they stop making mature games for the Wii, who else will?

People don't buy games because they are mature. They buy games because they are good. There's a reason people don't buy every piece of crap churned out with tits and gore in it (or do they?), mostly because if it gets a bad review or they hated the demo, they won't buy it.

I'm not going to buy Silent Hill: Shattered Memories because it's mature, but because it's good.

I didn't mean mature games like that, I mean (I hate myself for this) hardcore, action games. Unfortunately Capcom were one of the last developers who actually did make (lets go with your idea on this) good 3rd party games for the Wii. Oh well not much of a loss for the the rest of Wii community

isnt it a bit early for capcom to be saying this, I mean dont they have a certain monster hunting title that could really determine if a game will sell well on the wii, I mean so far they have mostly done rail shooters, dont get me wrong I enjoy a good rail shooter but on a limited budget I have other things to buy for 50 bucks

Woah, several month old thread. The quote is refering the picture which shows the despite people having said PCs are dying since like 1989 the PC is still the home for a massive list of awesome titles. As in, its not dying, not by a long shot.
