I think cars 2 will make up for the complete meh that the first one was. And pixar isn't selling out I would say their one of the few movie makers out there that still have passion in their work.
This. Cars was hardly fantastic - I liked it better when it was called Doc Hollywood - but when the worst movie a studio has made is still decent, that's a hell of a track record. I don't think Cars 2 will be amazing, but I don't think it'll be the shark-jumping moment for Pixar. I don't think that will happen for at least another ten years, although I hope it never will.AverageJoe said:While Cars was probably the worst Pixar movie in my opinion, it was still pretty good. That really says something about the quality of films they produce I think.
I'm sure I will see it, but wait until its out on DVD.
Then you have no soul. Or you just happen to have different tastes. But I like the over dramatic first statement better.likalaruku said:I don't like any of Pixar''s stuff.
Puss In Boots. Yep, Dreamwork's whore franchise is getting an illegitimate bastard spinoff.Teckdeth said:At least it'll still be infinitely better than Shrek 5 or whatever it's called. =D
Totally unrelated, but yeah Dreamwork's has always been an up and down studio for me. They have some really, REALLY good movies, but they won't stop milking the Shrek cow.Soviet Heavy said:Puss In Boots. But Kung Fu Panda 2 still looks cool.
Pixar's Cars 2: Taxi Driver.Radeonx said:Cars looked like the stupidest movie Pixar had ever made, so I didn't see it.
I'm definitely not seeing a sequel to what looked like the stupidest movie Pixar had ever made, so I'll just ignore the trailers and wait for the next animated movie that looks interesting.
