Because it is such a lovely day in the north-east of England today, i decided to have a nosey in my local town. This venture led me to a game store known as 'Grainger Games' and i had a good little look round. Something caught my eye in the 360 section. Johnny Bravo on the front of a game box.

For those who don't know Johnny Bravo, Well. Here.

Anyway i went over and picked up the box...I was shocked, amazed, scared and feeling nostalgic all at the same time. I had a closer look, and it seems Samuri Jack, The Power Puff Girls, HIM, Dexter from Dexters Lab and Captain Planet are all in this game, along with 26 other characters are in this game.

The title of this game? Well i did some research and it's called "Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion XL"

Honestly i may have to pick this up just to see how Awesome/Good/Bad/Awful this game. The only reason i didn't today is because i didn't have £30 on me :(

So what are your thoughts? Did you know about this game prior to me mentioning it? Will go out and search for it? I mean come on, who doesn't want to see Mojo Jojo kick the shit out of Ben 10? :')

That sounds absolutely amazing. I need this game.

Oooh...It is.

Most of the original voice actors are here as well, i must get this!#

Apparently it was a DS game, simply called Cartoon network punchtime explosion, it the got a console release and is now known as Cartoon Network Punchtime Explosion XL, with 8 new characters who were unplayable on the DS version. It looks a lot like SSBB

True, it is very lacking in originality, but to see your favourite cartoon characters in one game kicking the crap out of each other, it doesn't really need it xD

I severely doubt this game was made to sell by the millions and become the next big thing, more like it was released just for the hell of it :')

Sounds alright, it'd definitely be one of those games that I'd play more for the actual nostalgia of the characters than the gameplay. If the game ended up playing decently then that'd be an added bonus.

Another reason American licensed games are so looked down upon.
Woah, trolly post is trolly. It'd be nice if for a change we could see someone pronouncing russia or turky or anywhere but japan as some sort of cultural mecca. Seriously it gets boring.

Arkham Asylum/City, Spiderman 2 and Goldeneye your argument is invalid.

EDIT: just remembered that Rare are English. Ah well Goldeneye Reloaded is still awesome

I meant in general. I'm not saying there aren't good American licensed games, but they're in the vast minority. Haven't you played Batman: The Brave and the Bold?
Look for every 'bad' licensed game you throw out there I can think of a 'good' one. Sweeping generalisations are pointless.

You wouldn't be able to keep it up. The garbage far outweighs the treasures in the long run. And remember, I said American licensed games.
If it weren't for sweeping generalisations what else would you actually post on this forum?
