I stooped liking Cartoon net work when they stopped showing Ed, Edd, n Eddy. That was the last good show they had on for a long time and when they canceled it thats when Cartoon net work hit the dark ages for me.

Ever since the death of Toonami, the only time I even glance at Cartoon Network is when Adult Swim comes on.
Even [AS] is a shadow of its former glory. All this new live action crap is horrible. If it weren't for Venture Bros. and Metalocalypse, I wouldn't even give it any consideration anymore. At least I have the glory of the early years lined up on my DVD shelf.

Haven't seen it since I was seven. It was taken out of our channel package.

I loved the Tom & Jerry marathons to DEATH. Certainly goes in to the top 10 list of best things ever.

I look at Cartoon Network, I don't find it too bad. I mean, its ok, but not great. I see some shows and I think, "Well, yeah. I can see how this would be pretty popular with the kids." or "Yeah, I think if I was younger I would probably watch this".

But Cartoon Network always felt like a network that was for everybody. You had Toonami with its Anime and occasionaly non anime shows (they would even sometimes show Uncut episodes of anime at around 1AM on Saturdays or something) that aired everyday except Sunday, Cartoons which were both action packed and funny for both adults and kids, they still aired older shows like The Flintstones and Looney Toons, and almost every weekend there was a "movie night", where they always showed a movie. Then Adult Swim came along and you had even more Anime and whatnot.

Hell, I remember some days just watching nothing but Cartoon Network, because something was always on!

Nowadays? They have about 2-4 good shows, if at that. Course, it all depends on the person since some are Passable, while others are just bad/stupid.

Oh Cartoon Network, I will never forget you. Please come back...

Okay so I looked up on youtube for a show called mengas XLR, and found that a guy had put the entire series up about 1 month ago. I was so happy. I saw every episode but the last 4. today I was going to finish seeing it but it turns out Cartoon network called copy right. I know they have the right to do that but the show lasted a little more than a year, and there was never a dvd released. To add to the pain, I found out that this show has an ending unlike most cartoon network shows that just get cancelled. Has cartoon network done anything to make you hate them.
If you dont mind an obviously ripped from tv version then you may be able to find it on ebay I got a copy there a couple of years back gods I love that show

We're all pissed off at Cartoon Network's fall from grace, between their terrible reality shows and their equally terrible Total Drama Whatever and 6Teen crap. I think they kind of realized their mistake, though, they're getting better. They've taken away most of their reality shows and brought in Chowder (alas, it's gone now), The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Adventure Time with Finn and Jake (my personal favorite), and now I hear Tartakovsky's got a new show. Anyone seen it yet? I think it's called Sym-Bionic Titan. Basically, they're not quite as good as they used to be, but they're getting there.

Regular Show and Mad are 15 minutes long and, I haven't seen many new episodes of Chowder. Also, What happened to Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends?

Another gripe: How did Ed Edd n' Eddy survive so long but Dexter's Lab and, Johnny Bravo not?

edit: Also: Why do they play Tom and Jerry but not the Looney Tunes!? Everything Tom and Jerry have done was also done by the Looney Tunes only better. Cartoon Network is also showing live action shows. You are Cartoon Network, a network for cartoons! It's really hard to screw that up and yet there you go!

Yea they canceled "Batman: Brave and the Bold"
And now all they have is a bunch of shitty reality shows.

FUCK YOU CARTOON NETWORK
inorite?
Actual reality shows are boring enough, what genius decided that making a cartoon version would revive the dead-upon-arrival formula?

Adult Swim is the only part of CN worth mentioning. I still catch Metalocalypse every time they air new episodes, and Superjail is fun, but what the fuck is with "the Drinky Crow Show" and "Assy Mcgee" and "Squidbillies?" there's something very cheap and trite about these shows. I'd put Doralious and Associates or Apocalypse Lane over that trash in a heartbeat. Come to think of it, seeing Doralious and Associates on TV would be pretty kick-ass!
