I used to love good old CN but now... not so much. They got rid of most of my favorite shows and replaced it with... my not so favorite shows. Though I do love Fin & Jake for one reason or another.

Okay so I looked up on youtube for a show called mengas XLR, and found that a guy had put the entire series up about 1 month ago. I was so happy. I saw every episode but the last 4. today I was going to finish seeing it but it turns out Cartoon network called copy right. I know they have the right to do that but the show lasted a little more than a year, and there was never a dvd released. To add to the pain, I found out that this show has an ending unlike most cartoon network shows that just get cancelled. Has cartoon network done anything to make you hate them.

Frist off Justdubs.com has the episodes, I rewatched them a few months ago, oh and it lasted 2 sessions, but so don't a lot of good cartoons.

Anyways I don't complain about cartoon network nearly as much as everyone else, I grew up watching then complaining about nickelodeon anyways. Cartoon network still has Adventure Time and Star Wars Clone Wars and now Sym-Biotic Titan which has the same creator as samuri jack for those who didn't know so go watch it and try to keep it from getting canceled please.

Cartoon Network is DEAD and has been for like 5 or 6 years (or since Toonami died). I miss old shows like Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Lab, Ed Edd and Eddy, Power Puff Girls (yeah I love it even the movie), Beast Wars, Dragon Ball Z, Gundam Wing, Big O, Transformers: Armada, and Teen Titans. I mass them all. But now its just shows that AREN'T CARTOONS! WTF! Its CARTOON NETWORK! Its sad but things like this usually are.

No one likes Cartoon Network and with good reason. They seem to have forgotten that the word "Cartoon" is in their name. But they haven't put out a good show since Teen Titans. It's almost as if they don't try anymore. Adult Swim is no better. All the awesome Williams Street stuff and the kickass anime they used to show, have been replaced with crappy FOX animation shows like Futurama and Family Guy. Annoying as it is, I'd let it slide if the block wasn't also still pushing Tim and Eric shit, despite the enormous amount of hate mail they receive for keeping those two untalented doofs on the air. And then they green light shit like Squidbillies, Assy McGee and 120z Mouse in an effort to appease the handful of viewers who possess the necessary brain damage to think Tim and Eric are funny. I haven't really paid a great deal of attention of CN or AS lately, for obvious reasons. I don't know if those shows are still running. But considering CN is more tone deaf to it's audience than Barack Obama is to his voters, it would not surprise me if those idiotic shows were being picked up for 7th or 8th seasons...

Robot Chicken is the only watchable show, but you can see their best stuff on their youtube channel. Sadly we mourn the loss of truly hilarious shows like Space Ghost: Coast to Coast, The Brak Show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Sealab 2021.

Tim and Eric: Awful Show, Good God! is easily the worst show in the history of television.

Regular Show and Mad are 15 minutes long and, I haven't seen many new episodes of Chowder. Also, What happened to Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends?

Another gripe: How did Ed Edd n' Eddy survive so long but Dexter's Lab and, Johnny Bravo not?

edit: Also: Why do they play Tom and Jerry but not the Looney Tunes!? Everything Tom and Jerry have done was also done by the Looney Tunes only better. Cartoon Network is also showing live action shows. You are Cartoon Network, a network for cartoons! It's really hard to screw that up and yet there you go!

I believe Dexters creator moved on to Power Puff Girls, then before long Samurai Jack, then Fosters Home, he didn't really focus on one project too long. Which is a shame because a ending to Samurai Jack would have been nice.

They are way cheaper than cartoons, to probably only needs less than 10% of the viewer ship of most of their cartoon to be successful. Not many people realize this but cartoon network doesn't have a lot of money these days.

Adult Swim is the only part of CN worth mentioning. I still catch Metalocalypse every time they air new episodes, and Superjail is fun, but what the fuck is with "the Drinky Crow Show" and "Assy Mcgee" and "Squidbillies?" there's something very cheap and trite about these shows. I'd put Doralious and Associates or Apocalypse Lane over that trash in a heartbeat. Come to think of it, seeing Doralious and Associates on TV would be pretty kick-ass!
