Cartoon Planet Returns!

Apparently CN is bringing back Cartoon Planet with Classic Cartoon Network shows like PPG, Dexter, Foster's Home, etc. every Friday night starting today! Oddly enough Flapjack and Chowder are mentioned, considering they are very recent shows that ended their run not too long ago, but whatever. Seriously hoping for Samurai Jack and Megas XLR return in this slot time as well. Still awaiting the return of Toonami and removal of live action BS though...But at least, CN is becoming more watchable with recent good shows like Regular Show and Adventure Time and doing stuff like this.

If only Disney did the same....

I would SO totally be all over this... if I actually bothered to watch TV anymore, let alone Cartoon Network.

It IS nice to see that they've finally remembered "Oh shit, we're CARTOON Network, we need to actually air cartoons!". Screw all that live-action bollocks.

I don't really watch TV anymore, but that's really cool though. Remember Space Ghost Coast to Coast? Now that was the shit.

As for Toonami? I'm not holding my breath, and I think they better just leave it alone.

Oh man, I used to love Cartoon Planet when I was a teenager. Too bad I have no interest in watching or have never heard of those cartoons they mentioned.

Oy...I dunno. I'm all for reruns of Dexter's Lab and stuff, but I have a feeling the more recent cartoons are going to be getting the non-batshit timeslots, while the actual old stuff I'd be interested in watching would air in the timeslots just before Adult Swim.
