Well the comic does end with kirkman and his editor responding mail from readers about every detail of the book (except that it deals with the past issue due to time-space problems).

So suprisingly, this would make it a more acurate adaptation of the comic.

Ridiculous. After watching the show, with the tone and mood it sets, we are suppose to want to hear from Chris Hardwick? What the hell is AMC thinking?

Seriously, WTF is with the Chris Hardwick hate? Dude sleep with a family member? I'm not sold on the idea of the show, but this was a hatchet job of an article.
Its not a Chris Hardwick "hate", so much as a Chris Hardwick "misplaced". Web Soup can be funny.. sometimes. He can be funny.. sometimes. However, his slapstick, high speed verbal assault has no place in a show discussing a somber, serious toned Walking Dead.

Let me give you an example. ALOT of the Walking Dead fans are already huge fans of the comic, like me, and have a good idea of what is going to happen. Lets say one of the major characters dies, one we as fans have become attached to through the comic and also through the show. Well, we are going to be very bummed out about it, and I seriously dont think anyone wants to hear Chris Hardwick jump on the screen 10 seconds after that cracking jokes and acting silly.

God, I can see it now... "Greatest Zombie kill EVER......... of the week."

Chris Hardwick is awesome, don't shit talk him. He's got no 'hate' bandwagon and Web Soup isn't the only thing he's ever done. Like people said, Nerdist podcast is a good source for his GOOD sense of humor but more importantly, his group Hard n Phirm is fucking hilarious and deserves more recognition. It's a SIN that they don't get as much positive feedback as they deserve.
This is exactly my point. There is no place for anything funny with The Walking Dead. It is a dark title. There is no place for ANY kind of humorous banter with the show.

As others have said, take Chris Hardwick away from G4 and he's an excellent comedian. As a stand-up comedian, podcast host AND overall nerd.
Then again, I actually like Chris Hardwick, so Mr. Tito, have at thee! *challenges to a wine-tasting, fencing-swordplay contest*

Sure, a talk show after the episodes is a bit much, but Robert Kirkman and Chris Hardwick are pretty good friends, so I can see it working.

Also, Dave Anthony from the Walking The Room podcast is one of the writers for Talking Dead. 'Nuff. Fuckin'. Said.
