Castlevania

Hello, friends! I've recently gotten to playing side-scrolling games, and I hear quite a bit about the Castlevania series. I looked them up, and it seems as if there are quite a few, so I was wondering if these games are actually any good, and which one I should try first.

I have only played Castlevania Curse of Darkness for the PS2. Its one of my favorite RPGs. I dont know why people hate the 3d Castlevanias are bad, I think there good.
But I have only played 1 game, so I guess I wouldnt really know.

Just get one, I heard there really good. But very frustrating

One of the best is on the GBA, Aria of Sorrow. Symphony of the Night for the PS1(which IIRC got a re-release on xbox live) is also good.

If you're looking for easy, Castlevania SotN is the best for you... Easy as hell. Although I had alot of fun with the ones with Soma in it... Just make sure to check the score first... There were a few really bad ones...
