Come to think of it, the Castlevania series doesn't have much to do with vampires except for the main antagonist. I'm not saying that the game is complete without them, but I would expect a few powerful vampire bosses besides the Count himself. (Exceptions to this rule are Lecarde's daughters from Portrait of Ruin, which was the last game I've played in the series.)
