Well if the night time hissing is something that just started recently, it could but she's just growing old and her temperament is changing slightly (bitter old cat?). I can't really think of any other logical reason with the details you've given us.

And lastly (unless I think of anything else) my cat has been acting strangely lately, for example: Every night when I go to bed my cat comes down into my room with me (to sleep on my bed) so when I go to pet her or just stand next to her she'll hiss at me for no reason, seriously, I have done nothing to piss her off and yet she hisses at me, is my cat getting senile or something?
Cats love the petting and stroking but hate the smell of humans, you may notice that after a stroking session a cat will start cleaning itself to get rid of our awful smell, cats never smell humans you'll notice. Also thats why cats rub their neck glands all over you, to make you smell more like them.

I'm guessing she's getting ready for sleep and not in the mood to give herself a wash after you've made her stink of humans.
Dirty, naughty, STINKY humans!! hahahaha

Also if cats dont smell us then whats up when I hold my hand out and cats touch it?
Same thing, trying to make you smell like her, its why cats do it.

I haven't seen mine blink yet. It's creepy.
You know cats have two sets of eyelids right, my first cat got run over and needed plastic surgery for his eye, which made his eyelids slow and you could see his inner vertical set of eyelids close first. He was a big softy though.

as for your Kitten, its a youngun so wants to see the world, also cats tend not to blink anyway when its trying to figure out if prey is about.

So it thinks your food, so just in case you don't make it through the night, I love you Emilee!

edit, I'm off to bed people, so goodnight and stay alive around your cats, oh and you smell!

Cats are just crazy.
They have an average lifespan of 16, so every human year is five cat years.

My cats nearing 16, getting a bit wobbily on the old legs but still keeps on going. He's a ginger moggy, but switches from light to dark over the course of the day, he starts off sparkling but then goes murky as the day wears on, I just think hes a dirty bugger.
