I'll attempt to make this as gentle as possible, which I doubt my ability to do since you thought my previous gentle post was a condemnation. It has everything to do with your prejudices regarding the values of exploring sexuality in gaming, the ability to do so, the merit of that and the nature of sexuality. You think my pointing out that is automatically negative when I never said so, I am saying that your prejudices are leading your posts on the topic and not the facts of the subject and history of the creators.
Indeed there is more to adult life than sex. Sex is a part of adult life and I don't think it should be excluded because there are other things as well to explore. Also I've never been one to not do something simply because other people wouldn't accept it, I'd never do anything then.
You think this game is a massive step too far, I think this is (in your words) a baby step from where we are. Sex is always something to be tackled by reasonable adults, in whatever manner and method they wish. I choose to take this step with Atlus (even though I don't own either a PS3 or 360) and many other people will too, if you don't want to, I'm totally fine with that.
To end, would you believe me if I told you the only reason I did the sex minigame in God of War Ghost of Sparta was to get all the red orbs? Strange isn't it. I believe that games can (and/or should) do more than that, whereas you seem to think otherwise despite both of us thinking the same thing about that example.
