I don't know why many reviewers and other players say that Catherine is hard, it's fair and quite forgiving. I started on normal difficulty thinking that it would be too hard and I'll have to switch to easy in the end, but in my experience it is as hard as a normal difficulty should be. I died a few times, got 1 gold trophy and a few silver trophy in my first run through without any help or guides, I didn't even need to buy any items from that fat bastard sheep.
I really do feel that the difficulty in Catherine is just right, maybe they could even turn it up a bit by cutting down the retries because I reached 99 retries without any exploit.
Any other Escapist member feel the same as me or feel that it was too hard? I'm talking about the normal difficulty of course.
