And let the controversy pot boil.
I'm waiting for the inevitable Fox News freakout.
Maybe it can fly under the radar like Persona did?
How a 10 year old shooting himself in the head with a gun shaped object got by, I'll never know.
OP: Not surprised. Actually, most people excited for the game aren't attracted by the sex appeal. It is the people behind the game.
Do you mean Atlus or the creative team specifically? Is it the same team that made Persona? If you mean people are excited just because it's one of Atlus's weird projects where were those people for Knights in the Knightmare or Izuna? As much as I love Atlus games I think I'll give this one a miss. Um, block puzzles aren't my thing. Yeah.

I'm excited because it is the Persona team. Making my favorite game of all time will get me excited when you announce a game.

Thanks, that's what I thought. I played Persona but missed 2-4 due to being Playstation challenged. I usually only have one home system and it's evolution has followed Sega to Microsoft. That game was brilliant I loved the card mechanic and it was a existential masterpiece. So my chance to play another game by that team being this I think I'll pass. It's no offense to Atlus I gave Steal Princess the miss too. Actually I just waited too long to try to go buy it (I forgot Atlus basically makes a number of games equal to their pre-orders.) Yet unless you're like me and know that it's not your thing if you're on the fence then you should just get it as a financial investment and try it and see since I'm currently trying to replace Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Endless Frontier and that's going to cost me about $200. So Catherine will probably break Ebay records....

I kind of expected this, to be honest. I mean, it's a game about sexuality. If they DIDN'T have a topless something-or-other, it'd be weird.

I mean, c'mon. God of War had topless women, and you could do it with them. Other Atlus games have had topless demons, too; the Priestess boss in Persona 3 was practically naked (though I don't know if that really counts because it had letters on its boobs in place of nipples).

I don't know if I should pre-order it, though. I'm currently 15 years old, though mentally mature enough to handle this kind of thing. However, due to my age, I need my parents to go out to get it. The box art may leave a bad impression upon them, as the PS3 version (which I would need to get) has Vincent falling into Catherine's cleavage. What could I say to them to convince them to help me procure a copy...?

The Witcher 2 had a topless demon (and loads of topless women), but it didn't quite feel the need to advertise it. I'm not sure this game has all that much going for it.
This isn't an advertisement. It's a release from the ESRB.

Why has this game gotten so many news posts? I mean honestly, i bet portal 2 didn't get this many. Are the writers on this site really that interested in a game that features nudity? I mean, this is starting to seem really wrong!

Wouldn't it be novel if in a game where babies and breast appeared, that the former might actually be fed by the latter? It's so crazy that it just might work!

A puzzle game based on moving blocks around to reach an exit? Well, at least the theme is rather original.

Does Altus want me to make my own porno with the pizza box, shirt, underwear, and pillow?

OT: Catherine HELLA reminds me of someone I know....

Maybe I won't need the pillow after all....

I just pre-ordered the special edition of this today. In Australia. F- yeah it's gotten through our censorship, probably because it looks like "a cartoon." Anyways, I can't wait to get this game, it's taken everything I have to not have already bought the Japanese version.

If anything, I think the chainsaw wielding babies would the ones causing controversy. Just look at Dante's Inferno and the creepy babies from that game. Sure, the controversial part is the trophy/achievement that you get for killing such babies, but still. Personally, I'm more shocked to see chainsaw wielding babies than boobs.

You can pretty much find boobs everywhere: God of War, Dante's Inferno, Dragon Age, and so on. Hell, there was a game not too long ago that was released as a Special Edition and it had a mousepad shaped like boobs. No big deal (Sorry, I forgot the name of the game). So...I don't see what the big deal is anyway. I thought we had settled this years ago.

But didn't Dragon Age do the same thing and get away with it?
I don't recall babies with chainsaws, but otherwise, yes. FOX News may get freaked out by the animated aesthetic of the game, though.
