So I bought Arkham City today and while looking at the box art, I noticed that there is something very strange with Catwoman?s paints. They form fit her butt. Paints wouldn?t do that, not even latex or rubber, it would stretch flat across the peeks of the butt cheeks. In order to achieve the image the seat of the pants would have to be made from hand crafted and fitted hard leather, rubber, latex. Further it would probably end up being somewhat bulky.

So why someone who buy and pay for specially handcrafted weggy from hell escapes me. Though I would gladly volunteer to take the measurements.

I guess we can chalk this one to the sexualization of female characters. Not only did the cat suit need to be skin tight, but it must follow ever curve and be a very literal second skin.

P.S. If anyone ever needed a criteria to determine if someone was wearing a costume or merely had on body paint, it strikes me that seeing how it shaped around the butt would be a perfect telling factor. Though I cannot think of a reason you would ever need to make that distinction.

Looks like somebody has been playing around with the box art of arkham city in alone time. Don't worry, what happens in alone time, stays in alone time.

I'm more annoyed about the fact that she's got her zipper down, and since she's seemingly not even wearing a bra that really can't be beneficial when sneaking around and crawling on walls and being an overall cat-burglar. Trust me Rocksteady, Catwoman can still be perfectly sexy with the zipper up, we aren't so shallow that we need to see partially exposed breasts in order to find someone sexy.

I am man and I am pleased.

If female characters want to wear skin tight stuff who am I to stop them? Why would I want to?

To be fair, Batman is running around in his underwear.

Seriously, why do super heroes have that groin pouch thing?

LOOK AT IT. LOOK. WHY IS IT THERE?

I'm sure if they could get away with it in our society, a lot of female heroes and villains would be nude. ~.~

That's just a part of the western super hero/villain. Why is their a cape? It gets caught on things, it'd tear easily. It's just their for the sake of image and because it's traditional.

Wich is why I like how Batman's outfit in the Tim Burton movie wasn't cloth but a light, bulletproof body armour.

Batman's crotch thing is aesthetic and part of the culture. Catwoman's design is merely to make adolescent males and such buy the product without thinking.

After a quick google-search, I found it.
I don't see the problem really, don't most female comic-book heroines have skin-tight costumes? Why is this one so different?

Great, now I'm imagining him "throwing" them without using his hands.
Thank you for that comment, I laughed.

HA, Witchblade mocks your correct taste in female comic apparel

PS that image is probably mid-range in the scope of nudity you find for that character.
