I'm strangely disappointed by this news. Being a long, long, long time WoD player (2nd Edition Mage Represent!) each time I saw news of this I actually started to think about ways that I could incorporate this game into my life. Never all that seriously since there was no dates given, but it was always something I spent time contemplating. I haven't done that with any other MMO, even the ones I bought (Old Republic... I must have been drunk.). I'm not doing that with ESO, I've never done that with WOW, Eveerquest or Guild Wars (though Mrs. Makt used to play GW with her family back when it first came out. It was a nice way for them to keep in touch, but it petered off after a year or so.).
But the hypothetical WoD MMO was different to me. It would have been my one exception to the rule of not playing a subscription based MMO. Shame that it's gone now for the people working on it who are now laid off, for the people who were looking forward to it, but I suppose this means I'm going to save hundreds of dollars by not buying and playing the game. So there's that upside to me, I guess.
