A worthy succesor to the once great Bioware has been found, hurray
That remains to be seen, I think. While it's nice that they treat games as games and not as "product," they're gonna have to put in a bit more work before anyone can compare them to [pre-EA] BioWare.

However, they give me a game similar to Jade Empire and not only will I happily retract this post, I will record myself eating my own keyboard (I need a new one anyway).

The Witcher and The Witcher 2 are flawed games but I enjoy them immensely. Even if CD Projekt Red were to release a lackluster game I will still buy it. I want to see this publisher grow and I want to see their philosophy go from quaint to the market standard. Can't do that without money and I still have enough faith in capitalism to do my part.

This just makes me wish I liked any of their games.
They're in the right genre and everything, I just cannot play The Witcher.

These guys say the same thing a lot. Every single article on them reads the same. I'm starting to feel like they know people like them for it and it's more than half the reason they keep repeating this crap.

You're "nice guys." Okay. We get it. See you next week when you tell us all again.

I haven't played The Witcher 2 yet, but is it better than the first? I got to chapter IV I believe and I just got so tired with it. The game itself was just repetitive and boring. Please tell me Witcher 2 fixes that?
Yes it does. Much more interesting and varied than the first. Also, it's on sale on GoG [http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/the_witcher_2] right now, if you're inclined to try.

More people need to play this game. Shows what a joke the VGA has become, the witcher 2 didn't even show up for consideration for best rpg or game of the year.

For those curious, witcher 2 is improved over witcher 1 in almost everyway. Please give it a chance, you wont be disappointed.
