In the wake of the deaths of so many celebrities in so little time, this question came up between me and one of my friends. If you could bring back any celebrity from the dead, from any time period, who would it be? Now when I say celebrity, I say it loosely so anyone who was remotely famous may be chosen, but please don't bring up family or friends saying "But they were in a commercial once!" or something of the sort. So, who would you bring back? Personally, I would bring back Freddie Mercury, damn good singer in one of the best bands ever, could only imagine how great they would be now if nothing ever happened to him.

George Carlin, Jimmi Hendrix, and John Lenon.

I also wouldn't mind Kurt Cobain, though I would have to insist he'd be half zombie.

Dimebag Darrell.

Not a celebrity as such, but very well known in the heavy metal world, and sorely missed by many :(

Sucks to be shot dead halfway through your show by a crazy man who thought you were stealing his thoughts :(

Kurt Cobain. He'll finally be back with his daughter again then.

If I could choose another, I'd bring back John Lennon, which would be cool for me because he then might be living in Manhattan again and from what I heard, he would frequently just wander about and be really friendly w/ his fans. (Him living in Manhattan again would be sweet for me because I live in Astoria, Queens and that's right across the river from Manhattan.)

George Carlin and Kurt Cobain. Also, L. Ron Hubbard, so he can tell everyone that Scientology was actually a joke (no offense to the religion, but I've heard that he actually made it as a joke).

No, Hubbard was serious. Check out the Wiki on the history of Scientology. OT:totally gotta go with Tesla, or perhaps Archimedes. If either or both were alive today, can you imagine the things they could create?
