Today I posted on Facebook an update from Summer Heights High saying "if you Fuck up in school you're gunna Fuck up in life, thats fucked" And my parents and their friend left me messages like this.

Anthony, I know your last posting is a direct quote from the TV show 'Summer Heights School' and the message is good, however it used a word that I and your mom DO NOT approve you using especially posting it in FB. I know you'd know w...hat is the right thing to do when u get home from school today. Dad

I don't think you meant any harm, but, I encourage you to use better judgement on what you put in FB next time. Stay focus in school and do the best you can to increase your knowledge for college

You are friends with your parents on facebook? There is your problem right there. Start a new profile and don't tell them about it. If my parents knew how to use a computer (aside from the word processor), they for sure wouldn't know what I post, but I don't use facebook in the first place.

It isn't quite censorship on a massive level, they aren't technically force censoring you, but still, people should realize that "bad words" are sometimes used and that there's no power in words unless you give them power. Also, that's why I do not accept friend requests from parents/authority figures.
