Firstly, usual searched it nonsense. I did, and there was nothing the same as what I'm saying, so don't bother with any of that.

Okay, so some of you may know that recently my personality has changed, I used to be a full on tomboy, but in the last week or so I've gone much more feminine (well, apart from watching the footie match tonight.) I've just painted my nails, and I'm now thinking about buying some skirts and a bikini.

Basically, has anyone else ever had a sudden and/or drastic personality change? Was there a reason for this, or was it completely unexplained? (Personally, mine was totally unexplained. I have no idea what's happened, so any ideas would also be helpful.)

Edit - I just want to point out that this wasn't a change I made on purpose, as some people think it is. For the last few months, I've tried to do what feels right and suddenly this feminine stuff has felt right, and I don't really think this change is a good one......

(PS, there is no chance of me becoming lesbian, so that idea can disappear right now.)

Not yet. The most drastic thing I've done was grow a Goatee, and start listening to Heavy Metal.

Apparently I have become more closed off in the past months, but I haven't seen it. I also wouldn't know what caused it. Ehh change is good, it keeps things new, and if you don't like it sometimes you can go back.

I used to be depressed as to how pathetic everyone is, then I realized how awesome I am and it is just contrast and I gained a much sunnier outlook on life.

I have a shifting personality it changes slightly depending on who I'm talking to. It's quite unsettling I can tell you...

Oh, I've drastically changed, up until around 12 I was the most hyper outgoing little bastard, and a short 3 years later, I'm completely mellow and calm pretty much all of the time, I talk slower and articulate my words better, and I am generally less of a prick.

At twelve I was emotional, sensitive and kind.
At thirteen I was not.
Nowadays, I barely resemble my childhood self anymore.

Head injury. Now I can't see purple and it bleeds when I sneeze. Also, I think I like Lost now?
Doesn't appear to be a personality change there. More a "I should see a doctor" change.

On topic, not really, I've always been like this. My brother seems to go through one every other week, but I am reasonably consistent.

I've changed drastically twice in my lifetime.

The first time... it's hard to say when or how, but I basically went from a friendless geeky loser to a sociable, generally well liked and accepted person. My ring of friends went from 2 or 3 to about 10, and it's been growing ever since.

My second time started unfortunately after I was confirmed in the Catholic church. I decounced what was my faith and finally fell into a place I was comfortable with, faith wise (I believe there's something, we as humans can just never really know). My friends accepted me, and my father did too, but the rest of my family hasn't been so... warm about it.

But, luckily, throughout it all, I've remained an optimistic realist. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. Well, I did try pessimism once... it left a bad taste in my mouth and a ripe stench wherever I went. Or maybe that was the lack of soap o_O

I don't think I've experienced any sudden, drastic change, but thinking back at what sort of person I was at different stages of my life, I see how much I've changed. But...

Its called growing up, it happens sooner or later. What matters is that you are happy with your choice no matter what it is.
Yup. That just about wraps it up.

Indeed. My big change came in sophomore year of high school, when I started making the change from short-tempered anti-socialite to the nice guy I am today.

In the last few months I would say I definitely have become a lot more reclusive with some of my older friends, although that could just be me out growing them... (I dunno if that makes me sound like a jerk...). But I do think I have changed.

I was like you. I wasn't complete tomboy but I did hang out with the guys and do guy stuff. But once I left school, I finally did something about my appearance and now I'm the most fashional person on my block (so I like to believe). I got my hair done, still no make-up though and I've lost 7 kilograms just for being out of school. Very much not like me.

Though my nerdy side still existists (thank god). My gaming has gone up in hours and I spend much more time talking about sci-fi junk. Though I can now speak to complete strangers without passing out (I still blush like crazy though. It's a real problem). So I'm feeling much better about myself.

Yeah, same only kind of backwards. I wore pretty dresses and had long flowing gold hair that cascaded off my shoulders like a river of sexy wheat. But I cut it all off and now I look like a boy and dress like one too. Did I just grow up backwards?

Well apparently when I was 5ish I felt all the emotions except for anger and loved everything. I also never even thought about bringing pain upon anyone else. Now I only feel the emotions of anger and slight happiness. I also generally dislike everything and get enjoyment and sick pleasure by inflicting unspeakable amounts of pain on people. When I was young I disliked the sight of blood, now I cut people just so I can see their blood and feel it as my fingers get covered in it.

There was once a boy who was cheerful and happy and excited about the world around him, he gleefly and eagerly pursued all forms of friendship. Then one day he went onto the internet, encountered the trolls and the flame wars and they corrupted him into a bitter empty shell or even crust of the man he once was.

AND THAT BOY WAS ME!!

About two years ago, I really stopped caring what others thought of me and started talking to people I avoided earlier. I started having more fun, became more optimistic, my grades went up, and I even started believing in Catholicism (ask me any questions I've found out that the majority of religious people also reflects the majority of earth's population a.k.a. ignorant and blindly stupid people) It all happened in about 2 months.
