I was a naive kid, believed that there was good in every last person.
The big change for me came in secondary school; I realised that there are some people who delight in bullying... it made me more cynical. But, on the bright side, it also gave me a stronger sense of justice and shaped my beliefs. I wanted to sure I wouldn't end up like the people who bullied me, and for that, I thank them.

As for a sudden change, I can't remember ever having one.

I use to be a very stressed out person, however in the last month or 2 I realized that I am not anymore. It is not a good thing either as it means I don't rush to get assignments done and I often end up handing them in late.

Wowwww. Freakin' check.

I used to be neurotic and utterly paranoid. Not a nice guy to be around.

I've since conquered my paranoia, something that I'm extremely proud of myself for doing, and become a far nicer, happier person. I can say without any exagerattion or irony that nothing gets me down any more, at leats not for more than ten minutes. It's a great feeling!

I can honestly say I haven't changed much personality-wise except around 11 I found the magic of silence. Now, I don't talk if it isn't necessary.
Other than that, I've always been cynical and always been desperately trying to revive chivalry.

Head injury. Now I can't see purple and it bleeds when I sneeze. Also, I think I like Lost now?
Hey high five for head injuries, mine took away my sense of smell almost entirely and every morning after drinking alcohol I blow my nose and blood comes out (though not as a result of head injury I don't think, but somethings wrong there I'm sure... My brain is leaking.)

Well as for personality changes, I have one every few months or every few weeks depending on when my body decides to flip out. I have Bi-polar disorder, so I'm either really happy but a bit strange with boundless energy/ normal/ or depressed, out of energy, apathetic and miserable. Normal only pops up a small amount of the time sadly, when the meds work right and the world doesn't plot against me.

Every time I change mood, my interests change too, my eating habits etc. In fact, I fluctuate about 10 kilograms between the two moods, which is fun times. It's really hard to get good at something when you lose interest in it a month later. Only snowboarding and counterstrike have managed to stay with me through it, so I know they are awesome. A good indicator of when I'm about to become depressed for a period of time is I will look in the mirror and hate my face, shave off my beard and then regret it a few minutes later. I do this every time, and I always know I will regret it. Every time.

Anyway, changing is fun. The me from 5 years ago would wonder who the fuck had replaced him in the future, but probably in a good way.

Hang on, it just occured to me... How can you not see purple?

Yeah it definately happens, you unconciously want to change things about yourself so people will feel differently about you. There's always a need for change.

Its called growing up, it happens sooner or later. What matters is that you are happy with your choice no matter what it is.
This made me think of when I was little playing pokemon on gameboy pocket I really didn't want to grow up because I was scared that I wouldn't like pokemon anymore and it was my favourite thing in the world. My younger self would hate me now...

Started working out, not sure if my personality is changing, or it's just the increased testosterone levels but since working out i've become more confident.

People change different thing affect them. I used to be really really shy nowadays I'm more open so as long as you're happy it good.

On the contrary, I was recently surprised by the realization that I'm pretty much exactly the same as when I was a kid except I don't cry as much as then, of course, and excepting other stuff that's just weird in an adult.

Sure thing, as long as you think of me as one of the girls. I can put on nail-polish and wear a skirt if that will help. (But to be honest, I'm probably just looking for an excuse to do that... :) )
(Sorry for the double-post.)
