I'm about to switch out my modem since my current one is about to bite the dust, and I was wondering, what am I going to have to prepare for? What do I have to do after a plug in my modem as in do i need to redirect stuff or do I just plug in everything where it goes then go back to what I do.
I only know a bit about modems since i'm pretty illiterate when it comes to the internet this is all i know
-Changing settings e.g opening nat.
