Changing names

Umm, I was just wondering how exactly you go about changing your name here on the Escapist?

Go to your profile page and then click Update Account Details. Then change your name there.
But be warned. You can only change it ONCE.

You log out, create a new account, and enjoy.
basically you cannot change your name, only create a new account.

I actually think I know a couple of people who succeeded, one of them is now ProfessorLayton and the other used to be called 4thegreatergood. I have no idea how they did that, though.

That's not exactly true. On your profile, you will find a link to "Update Account Information". At that point, there is one box that will let you change your username. However, you can only change it once, aside from capitalization changes. Make sure that it is the one you really want.

EDIT: Jack Link's jerky presents: Ninja'd by Sasquatch. At least my directions were a bit more accurate by link name.
