Have you ever come across a minor character in a game/movie/show/book/comic/play that deserved his/her own spinoff? A character that you are sure could carry a game/film/show/novel/comic/play possibly better than the stars of the show? Sure you have, and now it's time to list 'em!

I'll choose three recent examples to start: Potential Spoilers Ahead

Tropic Thunder - Les Grossman (Tom Cruise)
I'm sure many of you agree with me that he was one of the best characters in that movie. And more than a few of you will agree that he was *the* best. Sure I loved RD Jr. and BT Jackson's performances and Danny McBride had me in stitches with his one-liners, but no character was as funny and dominating of the screen as Les.
Snatch. - Bullet Tooth Tony (Vinnie Jones)
Same as Tropic Thunder, there were many characters in this movie that could potentially star in a film (Brad Pitt's Mickey is the obvious example) but the character I'd most like to see star in a movie would be Vin's memorable hitman. Few people can pull off funny/scary as well as this former footballer and Tony is probably Mr. Jones' best role to date (or second only to Chris from Lock, Stock).
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World - The Vegan Police (Thomas Jane and Clifton Collins Jr.)
These two are the inspiration for this thread. During the climax of one of the more ridiculous sections of this film, these two show up to dispatch one of the evil exes that the titular Scott Pilgrim must defeat, and they do it in style. Jane and Collins are only on screen for about 2 - 3 minutes but they own their roles and could easily star in a buddy cop film set in the Pilgrim universe. My opinion may be a little skewed considering I'm a big fan of both Thomas Jane and Clifton Collins Jr. (because of The Punisher and The Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day, respectively) but I'll bet my bottom dollar that there are many who'd also like to see a movie starring these characters.
These are my choices. What are yours?

Marcellus Wallace, 10 points!
Actually, I preferred Robert Downey Junior in Tropic Thunder.
As for mine, Kramer. From Seinfeld.

I don't like the idea of a spinoff based on a side character, often they simply ruin the charm of the character by making them generic

Hmm...
I think it might've been interesting to have a spin-off of Mass Effect where you get to play as the Geth.

Other than that... I don't know...

I think Hector from Fire Emblem deserved an Entire game biased off of him.

I would also love to play a game with Wolf from StarFox as the MC.

Zuko from Avatar. And Zechs! From Gundam Wing
At the end of the movie he has the only Gundam left and was heading to mars with Noine.
now those two are spin off material.

Other than that... Brucie from GTA 4. I do not know why, but I think that would be pretty funny.

Edit: And Jann from Valkyria Chronicles. If you played it you shouldn't even question why I said that.

To ninja many, many people: Garrus Vakarian of Mass Effect. He's basically a space-Batman with a sniper rifle, he was serving in the army and C-Sec before the first game, was a vigilante with his own squad of eleven between ME1 and ME2, he has lots of fans (many of which consider him extremely sexy). I believe he deserves a spinoff game to his name.

Ares from MU, yes he has had two excellent mini-series and played an important role in both the mighty and dark avengers, but he needs his own monthly, it would be awesome.

Hazama is fucking awesome. He gets his own section in story mode like every other character but I want to see more of him.

For those who haven't played the game (Blazblue Continuum Shift) he's basically the biggest douche on the planet. I've described him as a young Japanese Hannibal Lector. He's made other characters literally go insane just by talking to them for a few minutes.

And how does he fight? He's like if Michael Jackson was Dr. Octopus carrying an array of knives in his sleeves.

The more I see of this character, the better. He's just awesome.

Magneto, Juggernaut, Cable. Heck maybe just an X-men show that has each season devoted to a small villain/character that comes and goes (well Magneto isn't a small villain).

I'd like to see a shooter set in the Mass Effect universe of Garrus' times fighting the mercs on Omega. Call it Archangel.

I'd like a Hitman-esque Stealth Game based on The Orlesian Game from Dragon Age with the player in the role of Leliana or some random Bard.

Really, Bioware's characters and universes are just so full of spinoff opportunites.

Disagree! Hazama is kinda cool, but he's also a huge dick. Seriously he's one of the biggest assholes in video games. Instead of Hazama, I pick...

Not only is she much more cool, but her and her interactions between her cat and little bat-thing are just so fun to watch, not to mention her conversations with Ragna, which for some reason are just kinda heart-warming.

I also find her kind of cute, in an odd sort of way... don't look at me like that...

Dan Smith, Killer 7. Because it'll probably imitate Resevoir Dogs mixed with Muholland Dr.
You know what, while I'm at it, they should just flesh out every character. Seriously, all I know is that Garcian is a black man voiced by Grey Fox, and that Harman is motherfucking Murdock from the A-Team.

Gary from Bully. Just to see if he can fight better than the final battle.

Bishop from No More Heroes. Because Suda will find a way to make fun of the life of a cinema fanatic this time, rather than the life of a gamer.

And a spin off of White Knight Chroncles where the combat and the story isn't boring, predictible shit, and the character you create is the main character and doesn't look like a clone of Prince Charles.

Chris Evans as Lucas Lee as Cole Hazard in "You Just Don't Exist"

Also, it would be awesome if Beck did a full length Sex Bob-omb album and Metric did a full length Clash At the Demon Head album.
