Characters you love to hate...

These are the characters that make you want to punch them in the face, then apologise because they had good reason to be bad or there was something about them that just stopped you from doing so. They torment your favourite characters and/or die/join your team later. This includes friendly-to-hostile to even critters or the occasional odd NPC.

Oh, and Jun (Halo: Reach). Partly for disappearing whilst I'm trying to run the campaign on legendary, and partly for not participating properly in the epic death competition.

I have a love-hate relationship with the TES:O city guards and their omnipotence. It can get really annoying to not be able to do most anything without big brother watching, but paralyzing a guard just as he talks to you and seeing him facedown in a puddle, determinedly telling me to PAY WITH MY BLOOD and similar moments make it so worth it.

"You're the hero of Kvatch, I'm not worthy! How are you doing? Shine your shoes?"

Disciple from KOTOR 2. I got him to be a jedi in one conversation. Which shows how incredibly bland and uninteresting he was. Never again did I speak to him after I realised this.

Also, Misa from death note. Not a video game character but she just annoys the crap outta me... She seems so out of place with all the geniuses running around in the show.

Samus/Pikachu in Super Smash Bros Melee, who incidentally happened to be the favourite characters of two of my friends. Samus for the hiding off the the side, and occasionally throwing giant energy balls my way, and Pikachu for the sheer annoyance of Thunder, and to a lesser extent Thundershock.

I still won over 50% of the time though, so it was ok.

First character i think i ever really hated was "eric" from tony hawks underground. I don't know why but that guy really pissed me off, in the real life sense. Argh, thinking about it now still annoys me!

Oh and ANY annoying wild encounter in pokemon when you just want to get from A-B.

Yukari from Persona 3,mainly for that stupid shit she pulls in the Answer.I mean I can see why she did it to some extent but to just be a conceited ***** about the whole affair is just idiotic.Also you had to be "Popular" to date her and that just didn't sit right with me. I'll admit she's an excellent healer and can be a good character

Though I like her more in P3P's female route and felt closer because it was easier to talk to her as a girl.
