I am, in about 24 hours from this post going to start the first part of a 3 part test to do what I have always wanted.
I will try and get into the Police Academy and I have, as long as I remember wanted this.
It doesn't really help that I caught a cold a few days ago but I'll still do my best even if I most likely won't be able to do 100% of what I normally can.

How about you fellow Escapists?
Do you have a dream you're chasing or have you already gotten there?
If you're still in the chasing part what is it you really want?
If you already caught up to it, what are you doing now that was/is your dream?

Space. Space.
Want to go to space. Space.
SSSSSSSSPPPPPPAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCEEEEEEEEE!

But seriously, my dream is to make it out of the atmosphere. It doesn't have to be deep space, but visiting the International Space Station, or just getting a high altitude flight would be a dream come true for me.

This dream probably won't be realized by hoping to become qualified to do research on the ISS, but hopefully, at one point in my life, I can make enough dough to afford this- http://www.virgingalactic.com/

As a child I had a lot of dreams.

I wanted to be a fighter pilot.. but I was too short and wear glasses.

I wanted to be a cop, but back then they had height requirements.

i wanted to be a chef, but I developed an allergy to just about any cleaning chemical or caustic substance, even being around places they had been used to clean.. like kitchens. It's difficult to be in food prep with constant bleeding sores.

Now.. my dream is to be happy, in whatever situation I find that happyness. So far it's going well :)

I was initially planning to take two sciences and maths as A-Levels in college, but it wasn't really what I wanted to do. I went through a bit of a existential period and since I've applied for a course at a different college to study animation, which I love.

I'm almost finished medical school and hopefully in a few more years after that I will finish my GP training and be working out in the country. So that's cool.

Also just out of the blue I found someone I really love, has the same interests and dreams as me and I think I can spend the rest of my life with her. So that's pretty amazing too. Scary things like marriage and kids are turning into something I'd actually like in the future, just not now.

I want to be an author. I've already written one novel, which was pretty long, but I've not gotten published. Lately I've been reading/playing quite a few visual novels and I study visual communication at a university. I think my dream has changed or is changing. I'd like to start a company one day, that creates visual novels. I'm not very good at programming though, so I'd need more people.

I want to be a horror director, and I'd say if there was one thing that would make me really happy, it's if I made something that gave the people who inspired me nightmares.

I'm a nice person.
