Chat Roulette - What is wrong with people?!

I recently found a site called Chat Roulette. Essentially it's a site that connects you with random people from anywhere in the world to chat to, you can chat via microphone, text, and also view and send video via webcam. I heard about the site off of a friend and thought it sounded like an awesome idea so I decided to give it a shot.

The first few people I was connected to immediately disconnected from me which I thought was a bit strange. Then out came the penii. And it didn't stop. Over the course of a half hour I must have gone through about 100 different connections and I saw at least 10 guys just sitting there naked jerking off. I finally got connected to a bloke that didn't leave the conversation immmediately, had a bit of a laugh, then left the site. So I've come to the conclusion that basically the site is made up of lads that will refuse to talk to other guys, a handful of girls, then a fair few sexual deviants that feel the need to masturbate with an audience.

So I ask you all . . . . . . What's wrong with people?! Any thoughts on the site concept, the people who use it, or any past experiences with the site are all welcome.

Hell, I don't even blame your speed, I blame the constant spam of texts from my friend trying to convince me that games don't need to have meat behind them, rather, they just need to have good balance and framerate.

I suppose I'n not all that surprised that it happens, I was surprised at the frequency it was happening though. I would have thought these problems would have been the minority, not the norm. Maybe I'm just naive. Scratch that, I'm clearly too naive.

Haha, no it hasn't. I have seen a lot of funny things based on some YouTube searches. The opportunity to mess with people if your a girl on this site is pretty damn enourmous.

Chat Roulette is one of the best sites going, my mate at college found it one day and since then it's provided unlimited laughs when we've got a few hours to kill with nothing else to do. Part of the fun is the penises, keeps you on edge ready to hit F9 at all times.

If you don't want people to disconnect straight away the trick is to get a bird with you, no one would ever stay for us, then we got a bird to go on cam with us and every fat bald man and his dog was lining up.

That said, my housemates and I have started using it as a new drinking game. Rules vary depending on how drunk we are, but they'll range from drinking every time we're cut off to drinking every time anyone we chat to goes down the pr0n route. It can be hilariously fun, stuff like that, when you have various amounts of alcohol in you

My guess is it did; you'd be surprised at how many people on the 'net are looking for porn in all the wrong places, like Chat Roulette or YouTube, instead of, say, an actual porn site. Not that I support porn or anything, but if you're looking for porn why not go to a site that'll try to get you some?

Not sure what their game is to be honest, as we are all in shot, but that's probaly what they have in mind. They certainly pay more attention to her than they do any of us. Although looking at us, probaly can't hold that against them.
