Chat Roulette

I have just recently heard of this site that lets you chat with randomly chosen people around the nation or the world via webcam or just audio. I was wondering if anyone else here has had any experience with Chat Roulette? A few of my friends have done it and they thought it was a blast, and I'm probably gonna use it next time I can get a few of my buddies together. But what are your opinions on it? (This is my first thread so if I've made any mistakes please let me know)

I've never heard of it. Sounds pretty interesting though.

The only problem I can think of is possible language barriers.

Never heard of it... sounds interesting... if you really want chat roulett though i always suggest going outside and meeting people... there are so many interesting people out there to meet but i guess doing it in the comfort of your room isnt a bad thing at all... different flavors i spose.

Don't get me wrong I don't hole up in my room and stuff, I'm just interested in this for entertainment value. My friends who have used it usually prank people or if the person is actually interesting and goes with the prank, they talk for a second and disconnect. Apparently it's a blast to do when you have a few buddies to laugh along with you, that's why next time i have a few friends over we're gonna try it

I have heard of the site and used to go on there quite a bit. It was pretty funny talking to some people and just going along with some of the stupid stuff they say. Or the time I told some Persian guy "THIS IS SPARTAAA!" then he spent 10 minutes telling me Persia is better than Sparta.

I have spoken to few cool people on there though and had pretty interesting conversations with them.

I did cop quite a bit of Goatse and stuff though, but it's not like I wasn't expecting it to happen.

I can honestly say that I've never used 4chan, so I don't know what kind of stuff is on there. But yeah my friends have run into some pretty sick stuff before on the chat

Yup, it's pretty popular right now, and it's full of trolls. There has been an identical chat function for a long time, but now this one emerges and makes it a temporary fad. In any case, utilise with caution and prudence.
