Not sure if this has been done before, but I'm looking for some cheap* games to play...
I own an xbox 360 and a pc, and yes, I already own deux ex and loved it.
So, any suggestions**?
Edit: Just realised I accidently put this in the "off-topic discussion" forum.
Sorry, ment to put it in the gaming forum!

Uhm, If you don't already have Rise of Nations or Age of Mythology you cant pick them up for about $10 these days. They are both pretty good RTSs.

Get metal arms for the xbox. It works on a 360 and is quite a good length. It's like $15 so it's pretty good value.

I found Timesplitters: Future Perfect at my local Gamestop for $3.00.

Actaully, that's a good place to start: Go to a game store with a bargain bin.

You need to be a little more specific about what you enjoy playing. I like RPGs, shooters and slashers, but even I found Medieval 2: Total War completely awesome. If you like the board game Risk then I really recommend M2:TW, I've spent literally hundreds of hours playing that game. The player chooses a medieval nation and tries to conquer the world. It's really fun.

This is it and all its expansions [http://www.nulime.com/medieval-ii-total-war-gold-edition/p498902].

EDIT: It doesn't require a particularly amazing PC to run everything maxed out either and it still look pretty classy even to this day.

Well I heard VVVVVV is on steam now for 5 bucks, and from the demo that game looked really frickin' sweet. I'm definitely getting that one soon.

Oh you already own Deus ex. Great :)
Vampire Bloodlines is 20$ on steam. It's a damn great game. Just install all official and unofficial patches and play a real gem that didn't sold well because it was buggy.

I love Rome total war loads too. I really like the very uneasy alliance between the three houses that can fall apart at the drop of a hat and it'll always have a dear spot in my heart because there used to be a British TV show which challenged contestants to win a historical battle in R:TW on the hardest difficulty and that first got me into the TW series. However, I do prefer M2:TW not just for the graphics, but for the introduction of crusades/jihads. Keeping the pope happy (or making him disappear if he won't put up with your antics) and subtly backstabbing catholic nations so that one doesn't get excommunicated adds a whole new level of subterfuge.

Here's what you do. Board first flight to Sweden, take a kamikaze dive when you approach a big yellow mall in the middle of nowhere, approx 30 km from the westcoast. Bam, your at Gekås, Ullared.

Walk in and buy Assassins Creed 2 (PC) for less than 5 ?.
