Avencast: Rise of the Mage for around 5$, I believe. It's a fantastic game, and I was both surprised and pleased that it didn't sell for more.

Saints row 2 for £1.50

Apparently off a disgruntled woman who wasn't too fond of her boyfriend

Got Super Meat Boy for $3.75 on the Steam Christmas sales last year, that was pretty awesome. That was the cheapest game I bought when I actually paid something for it (and it wasn't already free to start with).

However, I got Mega Man Zero Collection for the DS absolutely free. I had a bunch of game credits on Amazon from purchases, more than enough to bring the price of the game down to $0. And then there's no tax on $0, so it was still zero (Yes, some states do have to pay tax on Amazon, and I am "lucky" enough to live in one of those states). And I was an Amazon Prime member at the time, so free two day shipping as well. So, bam, 4 awesome games for free. Thanks Amazon!

I convinced the used store owner there was such a thing as a PS6.
How did you exactly did that?

And I bought Back to the Future Episode 1 for free...
The guy was old, I pulled up the old banana shaped PS3 controller pic and told him it was for the PS6. Just hadnt reached American Soil cause Sony wasnt to rake as much profit from the PS3 before releasing the PS4/5/6 over the next 15 years in an attempt to keep the American market down and make revenue solely off the Japanese Market where sony could reign supreme over Micrsoft.
You should be really proud of yourself. Conning an old man just to get some cheap games. Really man, great job. You're one very small step above pirates.

I recently bought an old ps2 game off of Amazon called Gungrave, and I bought it for (no joke) 0.89 pounds, thats 1.40 dollars; from this amazing expiriance I wanted to know if my fellow escapist have had similar moments of awesome.
Gungrave was awesome, I loved the 'beat counter' where you'd score more if you could trudge slowly thru the level with your coffin on your back, and manage to kill someone every two seconds, actually took some thought, timing and skill unexpected of a nutty shooter.

On top of that, the style and over the top gunplay was refreshing, and the anime cut scenes fitted in nicely.

For me, it was when I was working in a music store, as the games expert, and finally head office forced my boss to give me time to catch up on the games returns section (games were NOT a priority and drove me nuts, never having the time to make it as good as I could).

In the end, we had a ton of games stuff that wasn't in fact faulty, but had sat around too long to send back, and over the months and years had dropped in price to silly levels, some of it 1p or 49p or 99p. That night I made a staff purchase of about 35 games and accessories for about £13, before discounts it was over £700 :)

What? Its not like the Game company made any money anyways. This guy sold games on the side. Besides, it didnt say you had to be proud of it, just what the cheapest game you got was. Would you rather I just lie?

If apps count then 59p, that would be for multiple games.

If not, £3 for Assassins Creed on 360.

0$ for Portal. Remember when Valve did that? Yeah, pretty crazy.

For a game that actually cost me something, about 1$ for Flatout 2.

I got Prey for $2.10.
I was surprised by that game. It was pretty worthwhile. That and it gave me Doom vibes.
