Did you finish reading my post? Me and my friend would often have normal matches in which I would play the ultimate defense, and he would... snipe people's heads off constantly. We played normally a lot, but we glitched when we were bored or wanted to unwind. Now, 2 years after moving on to the PC version, I suck at the 360 version, but I'll always have my memories, along with my epic 64 killing spree with 2 sentries in the enemy base.
It's not epic. You're a self-confessed cheater, your achievements mean nothing to anyone because from the first moment you started cheating, it became clear there was no way to properly gauge any skill on your part. How do I know you weren't cheating? Maybe you increased your damage
just a tiny bit or used
only a little glitch to get around a certain problem.
See the problem here? It's now impossible to take you seriously. Your gaming accomplishments are useless.
That's the problem with cheating. People think it means something, when in truth all they're doing is ruining it for everyone else while making fools of themselves. As the OP said:
"Why? Why must you suck so hard?"
sorry, what? I ask once more, though to you specifically now, did you even read what I posted? Perhaps you skimmed it, but did you comprehend all I said? Truly, there are 2 things wrong with your needless jab into my side:
1) You commit the crime of starting it out with a defense that can't be defended against. It's as if you said "You're in denial!" I can't deny that, because then I'm proving it, and if I say "Ok, I am" then I loose too.
2)You make the horrible crime of not knowing what the fuck you're talking about.
No, The only glitches (Actually wrongly named. Should be 'exploits') in TF2 on the 360 version allow you to get out of the normal playing area and build sentries where you naturally shouldn't, or shoot people where they can't shoot back. There is no way to 'exploit' the system to allow yourself to do 'just a tiny bit' more damage.
YOU are part of what is wrong, really. You stereotype everyone who has ever cheated and say they're worthless shits. The only difference between turning on a cheat in a 1 player game and a multiplayer game is the amount of people it affects. The reason (for me at least) is still the same: To try something new, to experience something a little different, TO HAVE FUN. I played the game naturally and excelled quite a bit. I have many many hours under my belt(over 300 hours on all classes) and I spent a damn good amount of time learning my way around the game. I note the amazing achievements I had while playing real games, and the only time I note 'achievements' while I glitch are when I was truly surprised or amazed, like when the enemy completely took us by surprise by finding a flaw in our 'impenetrable' defense of the final point, storming it and capping and winning the game. We congratulated their brilliance sincerely.
The reason I feel you haven't a clue what I actually wrote is because of your 3rd 'paragraph' : "
That's the problem with cheating. People think it means something, when in truth all they're doing is ruining it for everyone else while making fools of themselves."
You assume I'm trying to look cool, or attain status/rank, or gain achievements by exploiting these things, but I'm not. I did it for fun, and it was. We actually had people on BOTH teams truly enjoy the matches we had. The achievements I'm proud of in game are only from when no glitch was involved, or when others persevered over our glitches.
It is people like YOU who sicken me. Stereotype others without a thought and try not to even allow for defense on the other side.
I Can't quite quote someone influential enough as the OP, but I can put a similar question in quotes: "Why? Why must jackasses like you run the world?"
