Cheating in relationships.

Background story;

So, i was with this girl for a few months when, she tells me she cheated on me. At first i was really pissed off, but she told me it was with a girl and she was just "experimenting". After hearing that i calmed down and figured i didnt really mind.

My question; Do you think cheating with the same sex is better / worse then with the opposite sex?

I think cheating is wrong no matter the gender, however she did come out and tell you and I presume she is still with you so it's not all too bad.

OT: Having your partner cheat with the same sex is probably better for one to take in. I suppose you feel less like they cheated on you because of your faults/shortcomings and more because they might not be interested in your gender at all, and just want to try out new relationships.

But yeah they still cheated on you...

Happened ages ago, and we hadnt really done anything like that. Besides, we're still friends today and shes with another girl.

Seriously, it's all up to you. Whats wrong and what isn't is all relative. Did it upset you? No, not really. Did it ruin your relationship? If not, that means it is fine. That means it's fine.

But I can 100% garuntee it would NOT be alright if she was with another guy, am I right? I'm not sure, it's a strange thing, how lesbian and bi-sexual acts fall into a whole different line... I have a ton of lesbian and bi friends, they talk about sex all the time, and how hot they think some girls are. And it really doesn't disturb me at all :\

Yeah, I would file that under "Bullshit heard in a movie". I would also counter with "If you do it once, you'll do it twice and harder".

Cheating with any person is bad. It shows that you're not interested in monogamy. Even if it's just "experimenting", it still implies that you're not satisfied, and thus the relationship loses it's meaning.

She still fucking cheated on you man, if she was really just "experimenting" (load of shite) she could have asked you.

If I was in your position I'd get rid of her.

well in the first few days me and my current gf were outside having a smoke (yes its bad and all but she smokes so i go with her since i care enough for her) and she said her ex tried to touch her ... it was cheating to a degree but it made me feel really bad , me and my friend went over to his house and beat him up , the moral is no matter what cheating is wrong !
least she told you which means she trusts you to not get angry

I'd be pissed either way. Cheating is cheating. Someone who was not me came in contact with my wife's naked body. Male or female i don't care. She cheated betraying my trust. Male or female that is horrible.
